How can I deal with this Dreamweaver problem?
I am working on a website in a pc with Dreamweaver. I am done with it. I put all the files into a thumbstick. I brought it to another computer and transferred all the materials into a particular file. When I opened the file in dreamweaver in the other computer, it seemed to me that I have to change all the links. How can I deal with it without changing links one by one? [there are many links]How can I deal with this Dreamweaver problem?Every time you move a file within Dreamweaver it will check the exact link of the files. To get past this without having to change all the links you should probably place the files in the exact same folders that they are in the original computer. For example if on the original computer the files are in C:\document\site
then also in the new computer it should be in the same exact spot and not in c:\files\fun\site.
as well if the problem continues you should make sure that the files are in the exact same folders. this could happen if in the original computer you placed the images in an image folder and in the new computer you did'nt open an image folder. Good Luck
