Okay so, I wanna know how to change a link and add your own words. Like for example, I take a link from Google. It's a picture of an apple. And you know how you can just highlight all those letters and numbers in the address bar, right click, click copy, and then paste it whever you want? And whoeve you give the link to, the other person can click it, and see the same picture? You know that stuff? Well recently my friend wanted to show me a picture of stinky tofu. [don't ask.] So, instead of that LOOOONG link, he changed it to, %26quot;This is you Stinky Tofu!!!%26quot; And I clicked it, and it was a picture of tofu he found online. I'm wondering HOW do you change that link to your own words? He tried explaining it to me... but his words were VERY vague. And besides, I wanna make it funny, when my friends look at my links. Also so that they know what the picture is. Lol. Please help me. If you STILL don't get what I'm trying to say, e-mail me at bunniee_crazee816@yahoo.com
I'll try to explain it some more there. Okay gotta run. THANK YOU SOO MUCH IF YOU CAN HELP ME! ackieHow do you change a link to add your own words? More details, just click me.?I think this is how to do it...
and I hope you know some basics of HTML
Heres an example:
Picture link = http://images.yahoo.com/apple.jpg
Code to use = %26lt;a href=%26quot;%26lt;link%26gt;%26quot;%26gt; %26quot;Own words%26quot; %26lt;/a%26gt;
The code:
%26lt; a href=%26quot;http://images.yahoo.com/apple.jpg%26quot; %26gt; The Apple %26lt;/a%26gt;
The link would appear like this:
%26quot;The Apple%26quot;
and when you click it, you will see the imageHow do you change a link to add your own words? More details, just click me.?It's e-mail, I guess so do:
Insert%26gt;link.. There you go or do Control L, this is how you do it in Thunderbird but should be the same for all E-mail browsers.
