Link switches to another link so annoying think its a ad program when in internet?

when in a web browser put in website/search engine/or homepage some times switches to another site.a ad maybe or spyware. on webbroot spy sweeper for msn says a site has been blocked known for spyware. it pops up sometimes with this message. so i need to know how to make this stop happening the changing links thing. i think maybe its a program installed that is doing this
