How do you adjust the ride height in a Xantia?

Just had the P bushes and drop links changed on my 2000 Xantia. The front end drive height is now far too high all the time and very bouncy. It does go up and down as it should on the control but at what should be normal running height is too high and lacks damping. It has also become hit and miss if the back end lifts or not. Everything appears to be done up properly so I've run out of ideas.
